About Christian author Mackenzie Ryan Walters
Mackenzie Ryan Walters is a national award-winning journalist, book ghostwriter, and author and editor of “Faith Storytellers.”
Mackenzie’s journalism career spanned multiple states. She covered a presidential candidate’s campaign for one of the top newspapers in the country, reported a 30-minute television documentary that took her inside NASA, and recorded radio stories for an NPR affiliate.
As an author, editor, and faith based writing teacher, Mackenzie now shares the skills she developed as a journalist and encourages believes to craft their true faith story to share.
Originally from Minnesota, Mackenzie attended American University in Washington, D.C., earning a bachelor’s degree in print journalism and economics. Mackenzie now lives in West Des Moines, Iowa, with her husband Andy, their two boys, and their dog, Maddie. She enjoys volunteering, gardening, and baking bread.
